1. Travel North on the A19
2. Take the exit for the A1231 signposted Sunderland, Stadium of Light
3. At roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted A1231 Sunderland, Stadium of Light
4. Continue along the A1231 for a few miles, just going straight ahead at every roundabout
5. Follow directions for Stadium of Light.
6. Continue along A1231 until you see the Stadium of Light on your right hand side.
7. At roundabout for Stadium of Light, again go straight ahead.
8. At the next roundabout take the first exit marked A1018 South Shields.
9. Go along the A1018 past the bowling alley and past the hospital.
10. Keep going straight along this road for approx 1 � miles going straight ahead at all traffic lights until you pass a windmill on your left hand side.
11. At the next roundabout past the windmill, take the 3rd exit marked A1018 South Shields
12. The Academy of Light is approx � mile down this road on your right hand side.
13. There is security on the gate who will let you in and show you where to park.
