We are delighted to boast so many loyal and passionate supporters. All at Sunderland Women’s FC are striving for the best for the
players, the fans and indeed the women’s game in general.
As everyone is aware the expense of competing throughout the season
is enormous. An away game can cost around £800 and if it involves an overnight stay this can be as much as £1400. The costs of competing
at a national level for 2007/8 season amounted to around £17,000, due to travel costs and training facilities. The expenditure
on travel alone increased by around 33% from the previous season.
None of the players or staff receives any payment but give
their all for the love of the game and the promotion of the sport.

if you would be willing to pledge your support to the Ladies by making a small donation towards these costs.
