SUNDERLAND CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE GIRLS FOOTBALL ASSESSMENTS 2009/10
Sunderland AFC Girls’ Centre of Excellence, in partnership with County Sports Partnerships and Durham CFA are hosting assessments
for the season 2009/10.The aim of the Centre of Excellence is to provide promising young female players with the best possible facilities
and coaching to assist in their personal development to football excellence. The Centre will operate through the Season with signed
players through two training sessions a week plus a weekly fixture games programme.
The age groups for the Centre of Excellence
are U10’s, U12’s, U14’s and U16 yr. olds for the forth coming season (September 2009 – August 2010). Therefore girls from the current
school yr should be assessed as follows:
U10’s (yr3&4), U12’s (yr5&6), U14’s (yr7&8) and U16’s (yr9&10).
The
assessment sessions will take place at Houghton Kepier Sports College, Sunderland. Please note that players must attend ALL the dates
and relevant age group times for assessments, as follows:
Sunderland: Houghton Kepier School
- Monday 1st / 8th June 2009 &
Wednesday 3rd /10th June 2009
U10’s & U12’s - 6pm – 7.30pm
U14’s & U16’s - 7.30 – 9pm

by no later than one week prior to the start of the allocated assessment.
