Teesside University have been successful in the application for a FA Girls’ Centre of Excellence Licence. We will take over the running of Middlesbrough Centre of Excellence and add the Sport Science expertise as well as access to Teeside University facilities and staff.

 

As part of The FA’s new Centre of Excellence structure, there will be only 30 Centres across the country and Teesside University will be the only Centre of Excellence in the North East.

 

The Centre of Excellence will operate at the following age groups:

 

* The U9 age group will train 1 night per week and will play games for their club team. There will be no COE fixtures for U9’s
