England U17s Lead their Group
News
England U17 squad, including Sunderland's Lucy Bronze and Demi Stokes, go into the last round of the UEFA Women's U17 Championship 1st Qualifying Round, leading their group.
England thrashed Georgia 13-0 in their first match on Sunday (with Demi contributing to the score sheet) and two days later beat Slovakia 3-1.
This leaves them only needing a draw, in their final game today against Russia, who lie in second place, to see them progress as group winners.
The draw for the Second Qualifying Round will take place on 11 December at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
