Breakfast Club Toasts Top Award with Sunderland WFC

Members of Sunderland Women’s FC were guests of honour, as a local primary school had something to celebrate.
Broadway Junior School beat off competition from across the country, as they won The National Farmhouse Breakfast Award and were joined by Club Captain Steph Bannon, Helen Alderson, Gemma Wilson, Jody Burnip and Sarah Danby for a breakfast party.
The girls ate a healthy breakfast with the pupils and joined in a variety of games, including “toss the toast”.
Everyone had a wonderful time, despite the early hour, and our girls proved great ambassadors for the club.
