RESERVES RECORD GOOD WIN
Sunderland reserves recorded a good 8-0 victory away against Team Northumbria at Coach Lane. The goals were scored by Dayna Lambert, Danielle Scarr, Jade Clark, Lynsey Fletcher, Sarah Unwin and a hatrick from Stacey Simpson.
The reserves next game is a friendly against Consett, next Sunday at Leyburn Grove, Houghton Le Spring, with a 2.00pm kick off.
Sunderland first team’s final friendly, before next weekend’s opening league fixture, was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at West Auckland.
The first team start their new season next weekend on Sunday 17 August, with an away game against Reading. (Didcot Town Football Club, NPower Loop Meadow Stadium, Bowmont Water, Didcot, Oxfordshire OX11 7GA). Kick Off 1.00pm
