Three Sunderland girls have been included in the 9^th UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship 2009/10, First Qualifying Round held in England from 19 – 24 September.

Congratulations go to Jordan Nobbs, Lucy Staniforth, Demi Stokes and Sophie Halliday who is on standby.

"I'm delighted that Jordan, Demi and Lucy have received a call up for these very important games", said Manager Mick Mulhern.

"Obviously Lucy Bronze is now in the USA, but she is still registered to Sunderland, so to have four players in the squad is marvellous. It should also be mentioned that Sophie Halliday is on standby, so all in all, it's a great achievement for our club, as all are home grown local players".
