Sunderland Reserves recorded their first win of the season in the Women's Premier League (Reserve) Mid/North Div 1.

A Stacey Simpson Penalty and Autumn Colledge goal, ensured a valuable three points for Sunderland's second string at Leyburn Grove on Sunday.

The 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest Reserves was enough to lift them away from the bottom of the table.
