Sunderland’s Jordan Nobbs and Demi Stokes helped England Women’s U19s qualify for this summer's finals, where they hope to defend the UEFA European Championship title they won last year in Belarus.

Following victories over the Republic of Ireland and Sweden, England hit three goals past Turkey in their final game. The reigning Women's U19 European Champions join hosts FYR Macedonia in the finals from 24 May to 5 June 2010. Demi scored in the opening game against the Republic of Ireland and an 82 minute winner against Sweden, whilst Jordan hit a brace in the final game, taking them top of the table.

Sunderland's Lucy Staniforth (quad) and Lucy Bronze (knee op) were sent home with injuries
