Four Players from Sunderland Girls Centre of Excellence to represent Centre and have the opportunity to be seen by FA Scouts and International Coaches. The Players will be attending a one-day training camp with players from other centres from across the region.

Players have been selected in conjunction with current England Scout Representative and Claire Robinson (Sunderland’s Centre Director) to have the opportunity and current international potential supported with a positive step in the players development and experiences. Their attendance will allow them the opportunity to be seen by FA scouts and train/play alongside high level players within the region.

What is the Regional Talent Camp for?

‘To further enhance the current Talent Identification Strategy, selecting a pool of players at regional level with the potential to progress onto the International arena’. This process will allow Centres of Excellence directors greater input into the recommendation process for Youth international level and subsequently act as a marker for future nominations.

Good Luck to all the players attending and enjoy the day.
