Sunderland's Demi Stokes together with former Sunderland goalkeeper Helen Alderson helped England Women’s U23 gain second place in this season’s Four Nation Tournament in La Manga.

In their first game Norway took the lead in the first half, but England equalised just moments into the second period.  Penalties decide any drawn match in this friendly competition - England won 5-3 on spot kicks.

A Demi Stokes goal on 63 minutes earned England a 1-1 draw with the USA in the second match of the tournament. Although the USA won 4-2 on penalties, England still picked up a point.

In their final game, a 3-0 victory over Sweden gave England second place at the La Manga U-23 Tournament.
