But the 22-year-old will be back at Sunderland in time for the start of next season's Premier League campaign when the Lady Black Cats will aim to defend their title.
"I'll monitor Rachel's progress while she is at Lincoln," said Sunderland manager Mick Mulhern. "Hopefully she will come back fighting fit."
